What is the Army Meritorious Unit Commendation Decoration?

The Army Meritorious Unit Award emblem consists of a gold frame with laurel leaves enclosed around a scarlet red ribbon. It is a plain ribbon with no additional stripes.

The authorised four foot long unit streamer is the same scarlet plain design.

The United States military sorts decorations into categories called Classes and Types. The Army Meritorious Unit Commendation medal is classified as a Unit Award of the type Meritorious Unit Commendation.
