The Enlisted Person of the Year Ribbon is a decoration of the United States Coast Guard which was created in 1999. The Enlisted Person of the Year Ribbon is an annual award that is awarded to two members of the Coast Guard between the pay grades of E-2 through E-6. It is one person from United States Coast Guard and the other from the United States Coast Guard Reserves. The selection based on a display of pride, professionalism, and dedication to Coast Guard core values, and is made by a panel of Master Chief Petty Officers, led by the Master Chief Petty Officer of the Coast Guard. The decoration is a one-time only award, and there are no devices authorized for multiple presentations.

The Stolen Valor Act of 2013 is a federal law that makes it illegal for any person to falsely claim to be the recipient of certain military awards, "with the intention of obtaining money, property, or other tangible benefit by convincing another that he or she received the award".This decoration is covered by the Stolen Valor act. Fraudulently claiming to have received a Coast Guard Enlisted Person of the Year Ribbon can result in punishment including a fine, imprisonment for not more than one year, or both
